“You know, I… I’ve always had this idea of you. In my head,” Yuuri admits, voicing a thought he's had since Viktor's unexpected arrival six months ago.
Viktor is silent for a moment, then visibly grits his teeth.
“I don’t live up to him, do I?” he asks, voice hushed.
Yuuri blinks. “To who?”
“The man in your head,” Viktor says sharply. “He’s not real, Yuuri.”

"I've been thinking about this all night," Yuuri said finally. "I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do, but I just knew—I knew I wanted this." He flexed his fingers, causing his nails to scrape against Victor's skin. The slight movement earned him a gasp from Victor.
Victor was silent for a moment. "And by this, you mean—" he didn't finish his question, but Yuuri understood what he was asking. Victor wanted Yuuri's boundaries.
"All of it." Yuuri said. "I just—" Yuuri finally pulled his hand away, deciding he needed a bit more concentration for this part, something he wouldn't have if he could still feel Victor. He looked down at his feet to gather his courage. "You should know that I haven't before. Not completely." The room was quiet, and the urge to fill it bubbled up. "There was never the right time, or the right person, and I know I'm twenty three, but—" Yuuri stopped when Victor put his finger under Yuuri's chin and forced him to meet his eyes.
Victor had a soft smile on his face. "I'd be honored to be your first."
Yuuri comes home from Russia alone and is forced to deal with his feelings for Victor.
