Yes. It does sound simple. It's not. Stealing magic red powder doesn't sound bad until it injects itself into your soul and makes it so that the color red hates your guts, and it includes people.

She radiated a feeling of threat, fear and, weirdly enough, something Izuku never felt.
Love. Pure, overwhelming love. So strong, so unending, it was like at a sight they melded together, becoming one.
A blink and she was gone. Or not quite. As Izuku would soon find out, that strange woman had given him a power, one that none could know of.
Izuku Midoriya could now Return By Death.
(You don't need to know about re zero , but you do should know mha for this. It is a my hero fic after all. Knowledge of re zero is appreciated though. It's the best anime, you should see it.)

Summary
After his father rejected his then 6 year old sons dreams, Jaune Arc did what any reasonable 6 year old would do.
Run off and join a mercenary band that just happened to be passing through, of course. But life wasn't as glamorous as he imagined. What use is a child in battle? Made to do chores, picking up scraps of learning during his time.
Over a decade later, Jaune Arc was still a fledgling mercenary, unskilled in training if not in experience.
But he still dreamed of being a hero. And on the day of his death he recieved a great opportunity.
Every day he dies, he will repeat that day. Until he survives it.
