Summary
When Eddie's grandmother, Isabel, and his aunt Pepa decide to throw a party for Isabel's birthday, they decide to invite the entire Diaz family into Los Angeles. It will be chaotic, loud, wonderful, and for Eddie, extremely nerve-wracking. Not only will his entire family- who he hasn't seen his Shannon's funeral when they tried to convince him to come back to El Paso- be at the party, but Isabel Diaz, like the crazy trickster she is, made sure to extend a party invitation to Buck, as well. It doesn't help that Eddie is feeling himself fall more and more head over heels for his best friend, something he is sure will be hard to hide as he finds himself driving Christopher and Buck towards his Abuela's the day of the party. The day will surely shape up to be an interesting event.

Adriana doesn’t tell their parents that she’s going to LA. She doesn’t tell Eddie, either—or ask, for that matter.
She does ask Chris, and he thinks it’s a good idea—says as much, on the phone, and doesn’t say much else.
“Buck will probably be hovering,” is what Chris does volunteer.
It still surprises her when the man who opens the door is not Eddie. It’s—Captain America, is the thing that actually comes to mind—a man close to a foot taller than she is, if not more than that, with blond curls and broad shoulders, and he’s got a question in his very blue eyes that’s probably less friendly than the one he actually asks her.
“Uh,” he says. “Can I help you?”

As a kid Evan had always been fascinated with crime shows and podcasts, so much so that he took to writing, at first it was all for fun just a little thing he did to pass the time that was until his sister Pandora found out about it afterwards she pushed him to speak with their cousin who was a publisher he did and his cousin liked it and offered him a contract
And that's how he ended up here; in a room filled with fellow authors, holding an award for best new writer after he had just published his second book,
All of his friends were there offering their congratulations, he lost sight of his sister a while ago, -probably off with her girlfriend- he thought, taking another sip of his drink, if he was being honest all of this; The flashing lights, the fancy clothes, the attention, it was all a little much to him,
All he did was write a few scenes of blood and gore and he got an award, what has this world come to?
Soon everything became a little overwhelming so he made his way outside the venue hoping for a little peace and quiet,
He stared up at the moon, thinking about what his next novel should be about, he was broken from his thoughts by a soft voice.“Want one?”

Summary

Regulus gets sent back to school with a mission from the Dark Lord himself— find the “beast in the chamber” and claim its fangs without killing it. But when a certain curly-haired bespectacled boy asks for a rather large favor, everything suddenly gets a lot more complicated.
