It had been almost a year since everything ended. Over a year since his soulmate died.
Tim was just barely living, surviving only out of an obligation to live for all his friends who'd died. Even It, whatever the thing was, didn't seem to have any interest in him anymore. He'd resigned himself an unfortunately long, miserable life.
Until he felt a pain his side-- one he recognized. A wound that had never happened to him.
Jay was alive.
