“Look kid.” Dennis hates when Robby calls him that. Or at least when Robby does it to try and emphasise their age gap. It could be hot if Robby didn’t actually treat him like a kid. Like he is right now. “I’m flattered honestly, but you don’t want to date me.”
Dennis barely contains a scoff. Crossing his arms he straightens, standing as tall as possible. Their height difference really doesn’t help Dennis, not when Robby is literally looking down at him all the time. “I wouldn’t have asked if I didn’t want to, Robby.”

“You celebrating Valentine’s with your old men?” Trinity asks Dennis as they sit in the couch and watching some sitcom.
Dennis stays silent and bites his lip.
Do I even have a place to celebrate such occasion with a married couple? Dennis thinks to himself as he continues watching the sitcom while Trinity looks at him in confusion.
Dennis has been sleeping with the married couple, Jack and Robby for almost 7 months now. It consists of them having dinner, having sex and Dennis leaving in the middle of the night and the two old men don’t even chase after him. It was obvious, he had no place in the relationship.
Or; It’s almost Valentine’s Day and Dennis has been dreading it. He figures he’s going to spend the day alone anyway.

Summary
Dennis has been crushing on Robby since his first day.
He thought the feelings were reciprocated with all the touching and grabbing, but when he saw how Robby was dating anyone else (only up to 7 weeks at most as well), he realised it was pointless.During 4th of July, Dennis finds himself in a room with Abbot.
Then, Robby was on his 3 month sabbatical, probably hooking up with anyone he saw- doesn't matter, it definitely doesn't upset Dennis
He swaps to night shift right after and he starts talking to Dr Abbot more and more, Dennis realises he could do WAY better!
