Summary
Hanahaki disease:
A disease stemming from unrequited love*, resulting in growth of flowers within the lungs, heart or throat of the afflicted person, which are then often coughed or thrown up. As the condition worsens, full blooms will manifest instead of flower petals. If left untreated, this condition will be fatal, oftentimes due to suffocation.*See further studies. Now disproven.

The sedge has withered from the lake,

D3rlord3 barely escapes the clutches of The King, his sanity scarcely intact. Avery finds him, determined to help him with only a fishing pole, D-grade potions and a dream.
The only complaint he has is that the King doesn't pay rent and just takes up space in their world. And that he likes being alive and happy. And by that, he means: NOT getting haunted by a Lovecraftian entity that can't decide if it wants to be a literature play or a character, but one thing's for sure is that it's keen on corrupting him as well.
