Monsters are stupid, but they do have excellent color vision, and can recognize patterns almost as well as Hylians. This leads to some misunderstandings.
Or:
Monsters assume that Hylians operate under the same color system as they do. They're not exactly wrong.

one of the most creative fics ive read, where the fic is written from the perspective of a red bokoblin called Greg, and its where he muses and talks about the color systems for hylians similar to those of monster tiers.

Four stares. “…What?”
Warriors gestures with the shovel like he’s conducting an orchestra of despair. “Fair treatment. Reasonable expectations. The right to not dig a sewage trench while sobbing.”
Four’s mouth twitches with amusement. “You were sobbing?”
“That’s not the point.”
“Get back to your task.” Four says.
Warriors leans in, unblinking. “Do you know what Time did today.”
Four deadpans. “Assigned chores.”
“He weaponised competence.” Warriors hisses. “He punished skill. He saw us as mere tools. Cogs in the machine my friend!”
Or: Time creates a chore rota, naturally Warriors unionises.
