Summary
That was the beauty of it, in sum: they could really speak of things. From politics to the price of potatoes to the most precarious of family matters. Yet, on so many subjects, she need not tell him. He knew. And he knew because he cared to know.

Summary
The messenger hawk dove down into the wedding celebration and landed gently on Sakura’s arm. She took the note from its foot and sent it off, back to Sasuke – wherever he might be.
“Couldn’t even show up to his best friend’s wedding,” Kakashi scoffed, watching Sakura beam at the note as she read it. Her smile disappeared just as quickly as the hawk, her lip quivering slightly as she watched it fly away.
“Lord Sixth, it may be a bit more complicated than that,” Iruka said hesitantly.
“I know my students better than anyone else. Naruto and Sakura deserved a better teammate.”
Iruka hummed thoughtfully. “Well, despite Sasuke’s mistakes, everyone seems very happy today.”
“Not everyone.”

This is my first fic! I have no idea what I'm doing! All I know is Sakura deserved better and I've been mad about it since episode 500.
