Sure, they cuddle him, scent him, tuck him into bed, and occasionally use him as a human chew toy— but he assumes that’s normal boss-employee behavior.The pack likes Kai. A lot. Like, “this is our boyfriend and we share custody” a lot.
They think he’s in on it.
Kai is absolutely not.

“When I acted in love for you,” she finished, meeting his gaze. “We need to get our past selves to realize their feelings.”
“You’re saying we need to play matchmaker.”

“For our past selves.”

The age of youkai has long since passed.
In the Era of Quirks, no one believes in youkai anymore. But that doesn't mean they aren't there. The ancient and powerful Nura Clan, headed by the Sandaime, Nura Rikuo, only a quarter youkai but still incredibly powerful, still stands as a bastion of youkai prowess, protecting youkai and humans alike.
But there are whispers about the old shadow master of the underground coming back once more. Whispers that send Nura Rikuo off to UA undercover as a student. As a human. As a teenager.

Summary
Perhaps Yeonjun, or even anyone else in the pack, should have known that what they had was all too easy and simple—too good to be true: him and Soobin, future Head Alpha, and Head Beta. People didn’t tend to see the imperfections in a pretty picture, though. Most certainly the subjects themselves, too immersed in the fantasy.
Yeonjun’s future hinges on him presenting as an alpha and Soobin, a beta. That doesn’t happen.
