Summary
I honestly don’t know what to write here but I wanted to explore the gold liquid of eternal youth more with an MC who adjusts to the serum better than expected. She’s detained against her will by the RDA to be studied but miraculously gets away in the middle of the war between the Sky People and the Na’vi. She is saved by Lo’ak and struggles to reveal the truth to him.
Also this plot is an excuse for me to write slow burn alien smut so if I got a few things wrong pls ignore it’s not the point any way.

Summary
On paper, you and Dr. Jack Abbot are just good at what you do: you patch people up, trade banter like it’s part of the protocol, and drag yourselves through The Pitt one brutal night shift at a time. Off paper, Jack is a widower with a quiet that clings to him, an ex-Army combat Vet that left him with more scars that no one ever sees and you’re the nurse who notices them. The nurse who won’t let “I’m fine” close the door, who hears the pause after the joke, who keeps asking him anyway.
It’s the same slow bleed of grief and want, shift after shift, case after case—until watching his back stops being professional and starts being personal, and falling for him feels less like a choice and more like stepping into something you’re not sure you’ll both make it out of.

Summary
Jack Abbot doesn’t like the idiots from billing, sure, but he also doesn’t think they deserve to be stabbed in the lung with a scalpel by a combative psychosis patient. He just takes a vested interest in your well-being because he doesn’t want to get sued. It’s just because he doesn’t want you to end up passing out on his ED floor because his med student is an idiot. It’s definitely not because you’re pretty and sassy and sweet and-
Yeah, it’s not that, right?
Right?
