Summary
After the flood retreated and her people averted their crisis, Furina fled to the refuge of a remote village to hide from the spotlights of the city and the reminders of her pain. She told no one of it, not even Neuvillette. It was also on that day that the rains in Fontaine began and never ceased.
Eventually, a fateful encounter with Lumine ended up leading Furina back to the opera house and back to its Chief Justice, who was keen to not lose her a second time.

Summary
Fontaine is saved and everyone's happy! Except Furina. Furina is left alone to suffer with the trauma of 500 years collapsed on top of her. By the time someone checks on her, she is too far gone and attempts suicide at the first opportunity. Wriothesley discovers her and carries her to the Fortress of Meropide to recover.
