Summary
Lady Sloane Mairi never entered the Quadrant or bonded a dragon. Summary
Tyrrendor joining forces with Poromiel after a successful apostasy that killed countless in Tyrrish leadership means the venin threat has been contained a bit longer, but Tyrrish leadership is desperate to raise the wards in Aretia. Sloane, an expert on runes, has graduated from Aretia's new war college, and is sent on an undercover mission to Basgiath to gather information. Dain, playing a loyal Navarrian and ferrying information to Tyrrendor via his friend Violet, is posted there, and has promised to hide Sloane in his quarters.
That means a lot of time spent in each other's company.
