  2. Summary

Most-likely-just-one-shot adventures of two hero nerds saving the day, fanboying, and being sweet on each other.

Will try to keep spoiler-free for both universes, and be ready for a little canon-bending as I try to integrate these two 'verses with each other.

  3. Summary

Some souls are two that become one and that is all there is to it.
Some souls forge their own path to completion regardless of what is laid before them.
And some souls are not in half but in thirds.
(Those are usually the ones that need the most love.)

    Summary

May wants that. Wants it so badly she can taste it, the way need settles under her tongue, hot and sour. She’s twenty-four and she feels stuck, stagnated in a way nobody else seems to be. She’s graduated college, worked a few jobs over the years, but nothing has stuck the way policing has for her mother and firefighting has for her brother. A calling.

Bobby's lived a whole life without his brother. After meeting back up again, Charlie tries to find his place in it.

    Summary

Chim thought a group therapy session would be civilised. He was very wrong. The 118 unpack their trauma’s the only way they know how. Sarcastically, loudly, and with zero filter. Somehow, amidst chaos, grief, and deflections, they figure out that maybe, just maybe, they’re not as alone as they think.

    ———

“Well,” he said loudly, sitting up straighter, “I died. Technically.”

Chim perked up immediately. “Oh good, we are counting that.”

Alex stared at him, then at Buck. “You died?”

    “Three minutes,” Buck said proudly.

Hen squinted at him. “Why are you proud of that?”

    “It’s a club.”

“That is not a club,” Alex said weakly.

“It’s the NDE club,” Buck shot back.

    Eddie frowned. “The NDE club?”

“The Near Death Experience club,” Buck clarified.

“But you actually died,” Ravi pointed out.

    Buck shrugged. “I’m still here, aren’t I?”

    Summary

Dr. Holiday isn't the only Omega who works at Providence, but she's the only one in a position of power besides Six. He's not quite sure how to handle her when he first meets her - he had his first heat six years late in the middle of the Hida Mountains and had spent most of his life hating Omegas. He was taught to, raised to despise the 'whores who brought down nations' like Dos had always called them, to detest the men and women who would throw themselves at Five when she pumped pheromones into a greasy pub to score a one-night stand. He had been of the general assumption that Omegas were weak, deceptive- honey pots. Even now, as an Omega himself, it was still hard to change that assumption. They say to rebuild the house, you must rip out its foundations, and Six did not yet have the tools to rebuild.
    -
    Six learns to rebuild. Eventually.
