    Summary

After defeating the Beast and falling into the river, Wirt and Greg wash up on the shore of an unknown place. Soaked and cold they decide to wander in hopes of finding help, maybe even a landline or phone to call someone. Except when they finally actually got a good look at whatever place they fell into, did everything start to feel even more alien. The sky was full of a thick, brown smog. Screeches and screams bounced of the building and echoed throughout the streets. Roads were filled with even more cars, bigger and faster than any Wirt has ever seen. Somehow the sidewalks were even more crowded. Wirt held onto Greg for deer life, knowing how prone he was to running off for any shiny thing he sees. Unable to move with out bumping into someone, Wirt rushes towards gap in the walls hoping to catch a break. Sliding down the greasy, jagged wall, Wirt works on not passing out from hyperventilating while Greg pokes around the rest of the alley. Picking up a stack of paper, Greg shouts "What are penguins doing out in streets like these?!"
    "What?" Wirt responds.
"Look!" Greg exclaims, happily shoving the papers into his face.

    Summary

“The Red Hood has been good for Gotham,” Robin continued. “Crime in Park Row decreased by sixty one percent almost as soon as you showed up, and that’s even taking into account all the crime you commit. Drug overdoses have decreased by twenty two percent in adults and seventy nine percent in minors. Homeless minors are ninety two percent less likely to—”

“Kid,” Jason interrupted. “Enough statistics. What the hell is this about?”

Robin slowly lowered the tablet with his powerpoint presentation and looked up at Red Hood.

“You care about Gotham,” Robin summarised. “Gotham needs Batman. Batman is missing and so is Nightwing. We need you to fill in for Batman.”

“You want me to cover Batman’s patrols?” Jason clarified.

“No,” Robin said. “I want you to be Batman.”

    Jason bluescreened.

(Or: Batman and Nightwing mysteriously disappear before Red Hood has even started antagonising them, Robin is desperate, Gotham needs Batman, and Red Hood is Batman-Shaped.)

    Summary

“Both men watched Grogu and the other younglings practice in the courtyard of the makeshift Jedi temple. The children were more playing than training, but it would tire them out nonetheless. Din couldn’t help but glance at Luke subtly under his helmet. Not to ogle him, just to observe. There was something deeper to this man, a melancholic gleam in those big, blue eyes. Why Din noticed or even cared, he wasn’t sure. Maybe those Jedi mind tricks were real, rather than made-up space magic.”

“Din continued his gaze and then briefly looked back at the children in the distance. They looked so happy, so why didn’t this Jedi?”

    .・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.

After dealing with Moff Gideon, Luke keeps in touch with the Mandalorian, wanting him in Grogu’s life for both their sakes. The set up was good for both of them, Din gets to see his son training in the ways of the Jedi, and Luke well…he gets to be a little less lonely…

    Summary

All Din wanted to do was help Luke explore an abandoned jedi temple. Now they're 30 years in the past and Din accidentally convinced some jedi into thinking they've traveled forward in time rather than backwards. No-one asks Luke about this.

Basically Din ends up in the clone wars but through his lack of pre-empire knowledge and Anakin’s willingness to jump to conclusions, Din has accidentally convinced the old jedi order that he’s an ancient mandalorian and Luke is an ancient jedi. And no-one decides to explain this to Luke.
