Summary
I was thinking about the prompt and ended up having none or too many ideas, and to little time. Ended up with the linked image: Seth and Martyn looking into Peris specs over lunch while Iris entertains the not yet ship-bound consciousness (I honestly don't know what to call it), through one of its drones. I know it's mentioned at one point that Iris and Perihelion pretty much "grew up" together, and I really enjoyed the idea of what that may entail.
I weren't quite able to picture how the rest of the crew would've gotten onto the assignment, for a bit I played around with a picture reel of them reacting to meeting the "Pilot" for the first time, but there weren't time and it didn't fit the prompt.

Summary
“Make it hurt, then. Kiss me like you want to kill me.”
“I can do that.”
Two broken stars in a decaying orbit, passing closer and closer together until the inevitable, devastating collision.
Or, Tav is fucked up and down bad for Astarion, who doesn't quite see the appeal (but he's getting there). Sexual frustration, sloppy handjobs, a heavy dose of masochism, and way too many failed Insight checks ahead. Tav falls first, Astarion falls harder (eventually).
Or, a tragic-but-hopeful romance told through a series of incredibly ill-advised sexual encounters.
If you want to read a story where Astarion is sweet from the start and Tav is here to fix him, this isn't the one. If you want to read about two terribly broken men spending a good long while making each other worse before they make each other better, this might be for you. If you thought the in-game romance was a little too easy and it should have been ten times more painful and difficult to convince Astarion he's worthy of love, this is definitely for you.
Set during the canonical events of Baldur's Gate 3.

He gets right up in Gale’s face. “Believe me,” he purrs, low and dark, “I can handle pain, darling.”
It might be the way he says it. The way he looks. Hell, the way he’s looking at him. Whatever it is, it’s like lightning and it shoots straight to Gale’s gut.
Something about this stranger screams trouble. Unstable, capricious. Certainly short tempered. But he’s the first bit of colour Gale has seen at Crown of Kings since he started and if he’s being honest, it’s a high he’s willing to chase.

Summary
The language of their intimacy is all inverted. Astarion shies away from the lightest touches and evades the subject any time Wyll tries to talk about this budding thing between them. Wyll bares himself over and over and over and still, sometimes, it feels as if Astarion is only ever seeing him in glimpses.
The closer Wyll gets to Astarion, the further away he seems to be.
