On the Red Force, Shanks carefully tends to a young and sickly Luffy in a hidden, cozy cabin. Though Luffy expresses pain and longing for the outside world, he remains reliant on Shanks's care, unaware of the true nature of his confinement and the subtle manipulations keeping him there.

Summary
Shanks is a pirate not because he wants to be a notorious criminal, but because he wants to be free. He is pirate so he can live without regrets and do whatever he wants - and so, there is no way he is missing out fifteen or so years of Luffy's life when he could sail wherever he wanted, whenever he wanted.

Summary
In a different universe, after the Strawhats' escape from Rainbase and Luffy's fight against Crocodile...things go south, in a way no one expected.
Crocodile is suddenly hit with a realization of who exactly was stabbed through his hook.
He doesn't handle it well.

Or, in other words, an alternative universe in which Crocodad recognizes his child during Alabasta and freaks out. Lots of memories come back.

Very rarely was the Swordsman ever surprised, be at the moment, eyeing his only fringe at his door, completely drenched from the rain and breathing heavily. Mihawk was more than surprised though he hid it extraordinarily well.
He stepped aside, offering a hand to his clearly struggling friend.
It was only when Crocodile finally left the harsh outside weather did Mihawk notice the small. bundle in the others arms
