On a higher level, Enid knew that Wednesday was an alpha, which meant she would, of course, possess certain physical traits. But she didn’t make the connection in her mind until she could feel it literally pressing up behind her.
Enid supposes a part of this hyperfixation with the, not discovery, but actual association, stems from the fact that Wednesday does not display common or traditional alpha traits. Enid hates that she even thinks this way, and hates feeding into the stereotypes of what normalcy should be like.
The thing is, judging purely on the physical side—with the exception of a certain appendage she definitely now knows exists—Wednesday is an omega, through and through. That is, if you were looking at it through a stereotypical and purely superficial lens.
Or, in which, after Pugsley destroys a decent chunk of the Addams’ residence, they take this opportunity to do some redecorating. Upon recommendation by their mutual friend Eugene, Enid takes the project, not realizing it’s the home of her high school, kind-of, crush.

Summary
Yang's convinced Blake's doing this on purpose, there's no way she shows up looking like that on accident. It has to be some new sort of torture specifically catered towards her. The worst part is, it's absolutely working.
They're at a Halloween party, one doubling as a birthday party for Ruby. It's mostly college kids in half-assed costumes, people wearing fangs, maybe the occasional devil horns, told they weren't allowed in unless they dressed up. Not Yang though, her and Ruby have always loved Halloween.
Ruby was dressed as a werewolf, set with ears and a tail, ripped jeans and a shredded shirt, all topped off with fangs that left her slurring her words. Yang on the other hand dressed as a mummy, half her face painted green, wrapped in bandages, even leaving her arm off to really sell the illusion.
Everything was great, people showed up, people drank, but it all changed when one person walked through the door.
None other than her girlfriend, Blake Belladonna.

“That’s because it is,” Blake says. “Now help me pack or get out of my apartment.”
“Just promise me you won’t actually marry someone you meet on reality television."
(Blake agrees to become Remnant's next bachelorette for a lot of reasons, but getting married is absolutely nowhere on that list. Then, of course, she meets Yang.)

But curses weren’t the only superstition in their village. One night, Blake heard a sweet song echoing through the valley. Blake had never heard of a banshee before, but she couldn’t believe that such a beautiful song could be an omen of death. There had to be more to it than that. So it was refreshing, to meet someone who agreed with her.
