Summary
Harry has been on the run since his seventeenth birthday...He is now almost twenty and the war is still waging between him and The Dark Lord. Ron is gone, lost to him when they were escaping Malfoy Manor. Remus, Tonks, and Fred, all lost as well during the Battle at Hogsmeade. He has lost too many people. And he cannot bear to lose anymore. He must keep Teddy and the others safe.
Voldemort finally finds them. But when it looks hopeless, when it seems as if everything is lost, something within Harry shatters and all he can do is scream. So, he does. He screams until his throat is raw and he passes out from the pain of it all.
His scream has unexpected results. His scream calls others to him. People, Creatures that rally behind him to keep him safe. To help him finish this war so that he can maybe finally move on with his life and find some peace and happiness.

Summary
Harry really hates it when the Ministry of Magic gets ideas. Did they learn from fourth year? No. Did they learn from the disastrous tournament that killed a student? Of course not. Some people just don't have any common sense. Now he's no longer human, has instincts that don't make sense, and more adult stupidity to manage than before. Why couldn't they leave the ancient magic in the past where it belonged?
