Loki had always been a smart child. Too smart. Some people didn't believe it, or didn't want to admit it, but that was the truth. Of course, that also meant that he could sense and discover many things that others didn't notice.
So in his teens, when he discovered his true origins, he made a decision that any intelligent person with a functioning brain would make: Run away from Asgard.
Wandering in Midgard and meeting a certain Captain was not part of his plan. But it was fun for sure. And a few little kisses or holding hands there and there wouldn't bring harm to anyone... Right?

There’s someone in the kitchen. A woman, he thinks from their stature. Tony is torn between confronting them and asking Jarvis if they’re a threat, but Jarvis wouldn’t have let a threat in, so he’s at a loss. He feels it’s his only option to say, very intelligently, “Uhm,”
“Who are you?”
The woman turns, then, and Tony is immediately graced with the most beautiful, perfect face in existence. She looks like some sort of deity, and honestly, she could probably pass as Loki, if her eyes somehow happened to be— and then Tony meets her eyes and promptly has a mental breakdown.
OR, Tony’s first time seeing Loki in their female form.

Summary
At the end of the war between Jötenheim and Asgard, Laufey’s eldest–then a mere babe–was taken as part of the peace agreements. Raised as a ward of House Búrison, Loki is chaperoned closely. Women on Asgard have little power. They are seen as delicate, gentle beings whose only purpose is to bear and rear children.
Loki has always been far too wilful for that role, and so she grasps the chance of leaving the asteroid with both hands–visiting earth to heal an injury Thor managed to procure during battle. Once on earth, she finds herself delighted at Thor’s Midgardian friends.
