    In short, the two of them were exhausted.They had been apart for Seungcheol’s rut and Jeonghan’s heat and time for any sort of intimacy in between had been sparse at best.
    He saw him almost daily. But Seungcheol missed him. He ached for the man in a way that the thought of which would probably leave him pale in the face and trembling in a corner if you had told him as he presented years ago that this is what his future looked like.

    Jeonghan asks for a pup, Seungcheol makes a compromise.

    Seungcheol shifts the arm that's around Jeonghan, then spreads his hand out flat against Jeonghan's stomach. "Need to take off this nail polish," he mumbles.

    "Do you want me to do it?" Jeonghan asks. He rubs the pad of one of his thumbs against Seungcheol's chipped nail.
