Summary
Five years after the revolution that made him both a hero and a failure, Sylvain Jose Gautier is living a quiet rural life, having given up his titles, sold his lands, and left his friends behind. Though he has tried to put his past behind him, it comes back to haunt him when Edelgard asks him to undertake one last mission for her, forcing him to reconnect with old friends and confront the man he was, the man he is, and the man he wishes to be.
