Summary
“Sam?” He tries again, peeking behind the carnations his friend had been messing with this morning. “Sa-” He cuts himself off when he hears an unbearable loud crash, the noise of glass shattering reaching his ears. That’s probably not good. He whips around and finds that one of the windows of Sam’s shop has been completely blown out, shards of glass still falling from the window and onto the ground with a sharp sound.
For a moment, Tommy can do nothing but stare. Holy shit, his brain helpfully provides. Something just flew through that window.Or: With great power comes great responsibility, but Tommy didn't ask for either. Despite that though, he's now tasked with defeating the strongest villains in the city all by himself or else they'll destroy the city and everyone in it. But no pressure, right?

Tommy's very tired of being a monster; he doesn't want to be one anymore.
All he wants to be, instead, is loved.

Being in the foster system is hard enough but being a werewolf in it is even harder. Who wants a kid who's a beast, a moon child, a lie?
Tommy is sick of wondering. He's sick of wanting a pack, wanting a family so why is it—when he finally gives up—there comes along a family who threatens to tear down all his walls? Who he wants to slip past them and hold him?
It doesn't seem fair.
