Legosi extends a finger toward the ladybug perched on the colorful arrangement. “You are right,” he feels like the biggest idiot, he even put on his nicest shirt to see Louis. “I’ll head back home,” he murmurs trying to muster a smile.

Maybe he deserved it a little for calling her a dog, and to this day Taigen hesitates to use that terrible word in every context. But no one should have to feel the soft skin of the crown of their head at such a young age. Taigen had to fight a whole lot of people because they decided to make fun of his bald spot.
