“Obito asked me where some of his stuff is,” Rin comments one day, kicking her feet and not even looking at Kakashi as if she's just talking about the weather.
“Uhuh,” Kakashi eloquently says, suddenly feeling very hot and grateful for the mask covering his face. “Figures the idiot loses his stuff.” There, a perfectly reasonable answer.
Rin hums, it sounds amused, it sounds as if she knows exactly where Obito’s things are and she’s only humoring him.
But that's ridiculous, right?

Summary
Katsuki's quirk was powerful and unique, not to mention extremely versatile relative to many other heat-producing quirks. When people thought of 'heroic' quirks, Katsuki's was exactly the sort of quirk that came to mind. It was bright, it was flashy, and it was loud.
Right now, it was that last part that concerned Tsunagu.

Gawd another thing that has my heart wrapped around its words.
I can't say enough how much I enjoy reading how writers portray quirk's effects on someone's body. It's mentioned in MHA that quirks are physical evolutions, physically part of the user's body and biology. BK also mentioned how it's like muscles during the sport festival arc.
In canon, we see it in Aizawa and how he has dry eyes. How BK's explosions from his hands make his muscles ache after long uses, how Shoto's body temperature regulation is funky, Momo needing a specific diet and Tsuyu being affected by cold temperatures.
But I don't actually see much of it being utilized in fanfics and it makes me so hungry. Absolutely freakin hungry for it. Which is why I absolutely adore this author and their takes on quirk manifestations on BK and other characters too. It's also amazing how they counter it. It is absolutely beautiful ❤️ and it satiates the scientific hunger in me.
I hope more authors utilize the setting for MHA and what it means at a biological standpoint.

“I live here, moron. Why are you in my apartment?” Keeping the topic focused on him, and not you, was ideal. Giving out personal information seemed like a bad idea. As the phone translated he scoffed, looking around once again to take in your very average furniture and simple decorations.
The man seemed just as frustrated with the situation as you were as he answered. “How the hell should I know, idiot? Why don’t you speak Japanese?” He was trying to get information out of you, rather than him give up more than he needed. Same tactic, just perfect.
“Because we aren’t in Japan,” you said as though it should be completely obvious by the language barrier.
