Summary
The Coruscant Guard was isolated from the GAR.
News traveled slowly between them. Secrets were kept from each other intentionally or not, and information wasn't easy to share between them. In the GAR, if you learn a tactic that works, it gets sent to others, it gets implemented, what works gets shared.
When the Guard figure things out, when the Guard shares things, no one listens, and no one else gets to benefit from it.But the Guard is always learning, and they know so much, they know to turn a blind eye when people are stealing food and water, they know to make a friend when they can, they know to keep quiet, they know to exchange trust for trust if they cant give it unconditionally, and they know when and who to ask for help. And they keep learning more, they wouldn't survive if if they didn't.

When one of Fox's guardsmen drags a virus up from the lower levels it can knock out a good chunk of the base in quarantines. Its always a hassle, but one that lets him catch up on flimis and data work, and the guard can almost rest, so he doesnt hate it as much as he might have.

Summary
Naruto is off with the Toad Sannin, no doubt getting better without having to pulverize his bones because he’s jinchuuriki and he’s Naruto. Sasuke is being trained by Orochimaru, probably taking out all his angst on the creepy snake guy. Sakura begged Tsunade to take her, and despite her immediate regret and wounds to show for it, is still able to keep up. The three sannin are split between them, each training them for whatever goals they have.
Of the original Team Seven, she and Kakashi are the only ones left in Konoha, and he’s already kind of the exception because he never takes breaks between missions.
She hasn’t spoken to him in two months.
She should probably get on that. And try to find a reason to keep living. Who knows, maybe they’ll coincide.
(how sakura spends her three years with team 7 disbanded, while kakashi tries to make up for his shortcomings in his own strange way.)

Summary
In which Haruno Sakura and Hatake Kakashi were born in eachother's metaphorical places.
They might have been born in the same eras, and exist in the same vaccumes, with the same world around them, and the same figures twisting the events around them. But they are very different people, who made very different promises, and had *very* different value to their village.
(The Sensei Sakura Ageswap AU no one asked for, but I occasionally dabble in. A lot more Sakura-centric then Kakashi centric I will admit.)
