Summary

Each fic will be tagged with the respective ship it's focused on, so readers who prefer Hawk/Beej will have plenty to enjoy before the post-war pivot, but given that we're ultimately progressing toward a post-war quad, please note that Peg is, even when narratively minimally mentioned, a welcome background presence in BJ's life all along the way <3

Summary

After being kidnapped and held for ransom by one of the city's younger and more reckless thieves guilds, Azune is injured and traumatized to the point where his friends can't rescue him without hurting him worse. Letting Bolaire put him on/putting on the mask lets Hal, Bolaire, and Murray get him out of there, but taking him off again will be a lengthier, and gentler, process.

Summary
There was a good reason why Jon chose the university over the Church when he was making the decision the first time around. He'd left home when he was sixteen to study, but forced from the halls of learning, unable to bear his job in the town hall any longer, and with no home left to return to, it seemed there was nothing for it. The house of god was the only one that opened its doors to him, so however reluctantly, Jon would do his best and play along for as long as he had to. Or at least for as long as he could.
And he had to admit, he really landed on his feet. The bishop needed a scribe, not a new priest, and Jon was a capable writer.
So he gratefully accepted the position as director of Albion Monastery's scriptorium, and he wouldn't have to take so much as a vow.So why, then, it was so difficult to keep from getting embroiled in the abbot, Elias', life, Jon didn't know.

“You aren't supposed to be back in the office for another two weeks,” Martin accused. Elias blinked at him.
“I hardly see why this is an issue. Or any of your concern.”
“None of my concern?” Martin's voice pitched higher, and Elias leaned against the door frame, already feeling the strain of standing. “You almost died,” Martin scolded. “I ruined my jacket keeping pressure on-on the literal meathook sticking out of you while you laid there like a bloody pin cushion! And now, suddenly, it's ‘none of my concern’?” Elias stared at him.
“If you need your jacket replaced, I can certainly provide the appropriate funds. I'll arrange for the cost to be added to your next paycheck.”
“That's not the point!’ Martin splayed his hands wide.

“You thought that the posting was false?” Jon interrupts. He’d worked rather diligently on creating that job posting. Martin just shrugs.
“I mean– yeah?” he says with an awkward laugh. “Archivist at the Magnus Institute sounds believable sure but– paranormal background? Research experience on what– ghost hunting? That sounds a little…” Martin trails off and Jon raises an eyebrow.
“A little what?” Jon presses.
“Far– fetched,” the other man finishes, putting his hand behind his head.
“Yet– here you are. With supposed qualifications,” Jon retorts with a bitter tone. Martin nods.

Obi-Wan traveled all the way from Dundee in Scotland and through the contested land of Ulster to reach Connacht in the hopes to improve his skills with the sword. The endless battles at home had brought desolation with no end and he was send out to learn from the best fighter they had heard about.
Close to a village called Sligo, a man of many legends was said to be found. Upon arrival, Obi-Wan's hopes were shattered at first though and only his whole-hearted will to step-up to injustice gave him a chance to prove himself. During his training with swordmaster Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan began to develop feelings unworthy of his stand but event after event would lead to unexpected revelations as both were unable to properly speak their mind.- Language:
