“Sister,” Morpheus cut over her, “why are you doing this?”
Death glared at him. “Why?? You seriously have to ask me that? I don’t want to see you scarred, Dream!” she snapped angrily, hurt. “If this goes wrong, you’ll carry the scar of this until the end of this universe! I don’t want that, and setting aside the part where I love you, brother, the very thought of it is abhorrent to me, to my very nature! And I don’t want to see that poor women withered away into little more then a spiritual tumour for you to bare!”

Lilly's gaze fixed on his eyes and the stars, the galaxies, the universe in his pupils. When he reached for her she stepped back with a gasp. “What are you?”
“I am everything I have ever told you I am, that my sister told you I am. You just didn’t understand, didn’t appreciate, the scale of what that meant. I have never lied to you, Lilly.”
Her eyes were wide and frightened as she whispered, “Dream...”

Summary

Mika wanted to look after the strangers she found bloody in her lobby, however practice proves harder then theory as their demonic natures reveal themselves over time. As she struggles with her anxiety, the boys have to react to living with a human who is nervous yet curious, with an over exaggerated sense of responsibility. Things are only complicated further as her relationships with each of them grows with time. -

Originally an exploration of my headcannon of Sam's speed power, but also became slight character exploration with a dash of inspirational stuff. Updates will be sporadic as I focus on my main fic. Four to five chapters long, ish.
Some time after the events of SM, Mika notices Sam has a strange habit. When she asks him about it she opens a door into parts of his life that she had never expected to see.

Set just after Loki's imprisonment at the start of Thor 2. Thor and Loki are targeted by a cult intending to use them for it's own ends. Clock ticking, they are forced to work together again in order to survive when they find themselves in a very unexpected situation.

“You’re a ghost,” Morpheus reminds Hob. “You’re not obligated to me anymore. You’re- you’re free to go,” he says. Clenches his fists and steels himself for Hob to vanish. Refuses to think about what that means for him. He's seen, too often, what happens when a ghost remains for more than a few months, and he will not let that happen to his closest friend.
Hob deflates. It’s strangely literal; his feet touch the floor for the first time in this conversation. “That’s. Kind of you. I think,” he says, in the tones of a ten-year-old who’s been given socks for his birthday and is trying very hard to be polite about it. “I’d rather not, though?”
OR
Morpheus is (sort of) a ghost hunter. Hob is a ghost. They make it work.

Summary
It’s easy, sometimes. Too easy to forget that Morpheus is as much Nightmare as he is Dream. The two aspects don’t look so very different, and they sound almost the same. Hob wouldn’t like to try and guess where one ends and the other begins. He’s stupid enough to think that he can handle them both.
