Summary
Katsuki remembered his first interaction with his soulmate when he was around four. He remembered it clearly. He could still remember the scent of the paint they used in his preschool class. He was finger painting with some of his friends in Pre-K when he accidentally smudged blue paint on his forearm.
Katsuki happily continued smearing paint all over the canvas when his arm began to sting slightly he looked down to see letters….at least they looked like letters. His class had just started learning the alphabet after all.
He raced over to his teacher’s desk, held out his arm and went, “Wha dis say?” He bounced happily and grinned at the kind woman sitting in the chair.
“It says Hi” the teacher laughed as Katsuki beamed at her. “Looks like you have a soulmate, bug.” She smiled sweetly, ruffling his ash blond hair.
“So-mate?! I gots a so-mate!!!” Katsuki giggled excitedly as he looked at the vibrant purple ~Hi~ in awe.
He couldn’t help the loving purr that emanated from the little omega’s chest.
Katsuki really was the best; he had a soulmate.
