Summary
Izuku watches long fingers slowly reach out of the glass, wrapping themselves around the mirror’s edge as the man steps into real life. It smells like sugar and smoke. The clouds follow him out as he bows his head to fit his deadly-looking horns through the frame, red tattoos glowing faintly all over his bare torso and half onto his leathery wings. He makes the rest of the room seem dimmer just by standing in it. Molten metal eyes bore into Izuku’s, paralysing him as he kneels on the floor in front of this beautiful, terrifying apparition.
“I summoned you because want a boyfriend,” Izuku says and then winces at the shallowness of his own request. “I mean, I want to fall in love. I want to be assured that I’ll find someone someday who’ll love me the way I love them. Who isn’t grossed out by me. By the way I am.”
The demon tilts his head. "I offer you a place at my side. You want companionship? I give it in exchange for your soul.”

“Will you marry me?” Izuku heard that much before Shindo continued talking.
Izuku watched Shindo and he could feel his stomach curling, twisting with questions and anxiety. He felt nauseous and hot in the middle of the crowded room. He couldn’t seem to keep his focus on the kneeling man, his eyes didn’t move but his vision seemed to cloud.
They were practically yanked into focus though at a movement across from him, and it drew his gaze up to a sharp point. Wide, red eyes.
Kacchan was there, he was there for Izuku just like he always was.

Izuku and Kacchan are hero partners, roommates, and friends. Izuku is more than happy with his life until his boyfriend gets down on one knee at a party, but all Izuku sees is Kacchan standing behind the man proposing, and he rethinks everything.

"Good. I'll write to the damn landlord, so hopefully we can take a look tomorrow."
And with that, the blond walked through his door and slammed it shut behind him.
Izuku was left in silence, left with his own thoughts.
His brain churned until it clicked.

“Just slide into his DM:s already”, Ochako suggests, voice a little lacking in the enthusiasm department since this is far from Izuku’s first Katsuki rant.
“That’s a terrible idea! I can’t just do that! Who actually does that? It’s way too creepy and forward and- and what if he hates me?” Izuku argues.
It’s a rather stupid thing to argue, unless liking videos of people you hate and following them is a thing people tend to do. Ochako doesn’t get a chance to tell him as much before Izuku gasps and very dramatically sinks down to the floor.
“Izuku, are you okay? What happened?” she asks.
“He- he just slid into my DM:s”.☙❤❧
