Wasn't originally gonna publicly bookmark this because it gave me feelings that I will not be addressing lol but this is a very good fic, and clearly has had quite the impact on me given how often I come back to it. Feels real without being heavy, and full of fluffy goodness that I will never be ashamed to admit that I love. Fully recommend.

Summary
Zoey starts to move and Rumi, familiar with how she telegraphs her movements, knows she’s seconds away from lunging at Mira's father. Mira grasps her wrist like a lifeline.
“Please don’t,” she murmurs. Zoey stands down as he exits the room. “I just want to get through the next day so I can never talk to any of these assholes again.”
Rumi and Zoey share a look over Mira’s head, the thirst for vengeance crackling in the air between them. This is not over.

I absolutely love this fic. It feels like it was written and edited with care and thought. The story feels very tight, and the characters are on point. It feels like this story is part of a bigger world, with the characters having feelings and experiences outside of this contained storyline, while also being very focused, and I love that feeling. Makes it feel real. A good night read before bed. Highly recommend.

Rumi was dead.
It wasn’t a new concept for her. She’d been dead for almost five years now. But something was different. Two new residents had moved into her home. While Rumi wasn't upset with the change in her routine, she now had to deal with something completly unexpected.
One of them had seen her.
Now, Rumi was determined to learn everything about her new living roomates to figure out if it was a one time thing, or if she would finally have someone that could help her figure out how she really died. And it didn't hurt that both of them were really hot.

My absolute go-to when I want fluffy Rumira experience. Ali expertly gets us to care about their version of these characters in a way that most fanfic authors don't do. Their relationship feels real and the sports element feels like grounded. It's the perfect length for the story that's being told. Totally recommend.

I find myself drawn to this fic and I can't always pinpoint why. Each chapter has me falling in love with the characterisation of the girls all over again. I love seeing them older, and everything new is fully explored in ways that make my brain's cogs spin just the way I like it to.

An engaging fic about miscommunication and yearning, recognising your mistakes when you've mistreated someone and learning to overcome and recover together. Tempted to describe this as a slowburn but most would say it's too short for that (lol). I love the look into Zoey's mind as she's figuring out her feelings and seeing Rumira hurt and pine over her is *chef's kiss*. The story is highly engaging, the quality of the writing and pacing to thank for that, which is to be expected from Demo. Her writing is always on point. Highly recommend.

Mira’s thumb stilled on the screen. She looked up, slow. “…What?”
Zoey’s hands twisted in her lap. “Like—not open relationships. Just… not just one person. Have you ever thought about being with more than one person and it still being okay?”
She wasn’t looking at Mira. Her voice was tight, like it hurt to speak. Mira watched her with a furrowed brow, still quiet.
“I feel so guilty all the time. Because I love you, Mira. I love you, and this doesn’t change that, but I see her and I want to make her smile and I want her to hold my hand and I think she’s beautiful and weird and sweet and I—”
She finally looked up, tears shining in her eyes.
“I think I ruined us. And I’m so sorry.”
Mira just stared at her. Wide-eyed. Silent.
Zoey’s heart dropped. “Say something.”
Mira exhaled like she’d been holding her breath for a month.

Two's Company is the most popular fic in the fandom for a reason. It's a slice of life polytrix college AU that combines awkward beginnings with cute fluff, and as the fic goes on, you'll find an expert focus on healing in a very realistic manner after a traumatic event. I love how all of it is written. The throughlines of each character's storyline and development not only make sense, but are engaging and interact with each other perfectly. Highly recommend.
