Summary
Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, Shikamaru, and Gaara were 22 when they won the war. They were the only survivors out of the entire world. Guess it wasn't much of a victory after all.
So, what do you do when you just won a war that killed everyone? You go back in time to when you were twelve. Duh. Isn't that what everyone does?
This is NOT cannon. Many things are, but a lot is not. I wrote this to my liking, so not everything will be the same.
The chapters are kinda short so I’ll be trying to post twice a week, but I may forget a day. If I do then I’ll just post it the next day. I hope you guys enjoy this.

Summary
During the Hyuga Incident, the Kumo also target one Naruto Uzumaki. The manage to capture him, but only to be defeated on the way back to Kumo by two travelers. Now, fate has taken a new turn, and the world explodes as Kumo and Konoha go to war over the attempt. Neither of them knowing that neither side actually has Naruto at that moment. By twist of fate and luck, Naruto ends up in the ruins of his abandoned homeland, where his guardians must protect him, but also help others who are driven there because of the war.

Mito died as she expected, passing on the burden of the Kyuubi to Kushina. Waking up in a time where Uzushio was little more than a memory and the last Uzumaki is a jinchuuriki outcast was less expected.
Regardless, Mito will adapt.
She always does.
And the world will simply have to deal with it.
