Noctis snorted. "Sounds like you're going to hypnotize me."
Ardyn raised his hands to show he was no threat. "Only a small, strange little magic. I'd be loath to stand aside while His Majesty suffers. I leave it up to you, of course."
When Noctis agreed, Ardyn seized his chance to have the prince -- the Chosen King himself -- quiet and pliant in his very capable hands.
