Andrea closed the door to TK’s hospital room, leaving her son inside. She looked around the waiting area, wondering where Owen was. She noticed a couple of girls staring intently at the room she had just exited, their hands gripped by the man sitting between them in a robe and pajamas. She hadn’t met any of the boy’s friends, but she had heard more than enough about the trio seated in front of her to know who they were.
