It'd been a fortnight since his appointment at the fertility clinic where he'd met Retlok, his stud for the afternoon. The sex had been wonderful, and though he hadn't expected to form an attachment to someone who was one step away from a sperm donor, it'd been just his luck that Retlok was so damn considerate and caring. He couldn't be someone who faded into his memories. Not with how many of Fjor's thoughts still lingered on that meeting, and the scrap of paper with a phone number written on it that he'd kept and pinned to the noticeboard in his kitchen.
As the days had passed, he'd felt more and more restless, swishing his tail in irritation over minor things. He'd caught himself staring at the slip of paper and recalling the weight of Retlok's body over his more times than he wanted to admit. 'Hope you had a good time. Next one on the house? My treat.' He knew it was the start of his heat proper, he could feel it. And, well, it just so happened to be an excellent excuse to see Retlok again...
