    Summary

“Mandalorian kids?” Quinlan wore a deep frown on his face, knowing how troublesome that was for the Republic.

“They tried to make them fight the Younglings. Some kind of Jedi vs Mandalorian thing. I want to bring them home.”

“To Keldabe? You have lost your mind.”

“The Republic would use them for leverage. It could escalate to war– things have been way too tense for way too long.” Obi-Wan argued.

“Going to Mandalorian Space is suicide.”

“I would rather risk my life than see children used as political pawns or worse, as leverage in war.”

“They are the enemy, Obes. If they get their hands on you they would not be so gracious.”

“There are no enemy children in war. Just children.”

Quinlan knew there was no convincing Obi-Wan at this point. “Fine. But don’t come crying to me when things go wrong.”

They both knew Quinlan would be the first to aid Obi-Wan should things go wrong.

Him and the rest of the Bear Clan.

    “I’ll take the risk.”

    Summary

Mandalorians had this odd sense of humour where they liked watching strangers get teary eyed from eating the spiciest dishes.

    “Familiar with pirpaak ?”

“Not this particular one, but familiar enough to know what to expect.” Ben replied.

Food was an important part of Mandalorian culture. Aliite tended to have conflict over whose dish was the better recipe. It was like Jedi and their tea blends.

    “Where did you have it?”

“Sundari.” Ben replied, “It was a lifetime ago.”

“Ughh, Sundari’s drap? What’s the name of the place?”

“I am unsure, though it might have been a bit spicier than this one.” Ben hid a smile at the outrage that followed his claim by taking another bite. Pretending not to notice the chaos he had caused, Ben glanced at the Mand’alor who was watching him in amusement.

    “Ever visited Keldabe?”

Ben hid a laugh. “Only ran through it, really.”

“What a shame. I will show you around.” Jaster offered.

Ben smiled, “I would not say no to that.”

In which Ben Kenobi realises that it was only fair if the Sith actually had a player sitting on the opposite side of the invisible chessboard they had created.

    Summary

Do you understand? the very fabric of existence asks, and Cal, clinging to the line between life and death, thinks no—

For a brief moment, an infinite moment, a moment everywhere in between, he encompasses the universe, and the universe encompasses him. Around, around, around he goes, and there is a terrible emptiness in the space where he and the cosmos exist.

    Summary

The man didn’t even glance at him, no, he just kept firing. Bits of broken spaceship worked well as shielding for the vantage point his vod had found. He peered around a jagged edge and frowned. There were at least ten of those clankers left amongst the sprawled wreckage of a drop-ship. Wooley had managed to down a handful it seemed without drawing too much attention.

The droids were focused on something inside the largest part of the wreck.

"What are they firing at?" A flash of something beyond the droids made his blood go cold. Was that a child? He felt his eyes go wide when a piece of the ship slammed into two of the droids out of nowhere. A horrible grinding noise filled the space as the clankers almost became one with the ground beneath them. Not just a child then, a Jedi.
