Summary
“Do it then.” Robert growled back, voice deep and demanding. Flambae’s brows twitched. “Do what you were too chickenshit to do, bitch.”
He felt hot lips slam into his own. All teeth and bite, so little restraint that he felt how his top lip tore in its crevice at the sudden attack on his mouth. His own hand shot out, grabbing the back of Flambae’s head and tugging harshly at his hair.
--
Flambae doesn't take Robert's admittance to being Mechaman well, frankly, the both of them should just talk about it.
Will they?

Summary
One of the main characters - the only surviving witness to a murder - has just woken from a coma. Not only is she entirely cognizant, but the first thing that the subtitles say she asks for is a lawyer.
“What are you fucking giggling about?”
The other person that’s been paying attention is Flambae. He’s right next to Robert on the couch, his arm slung over the top behind his head. One foot is propped up on the other knee, also pointing towards Robert, which has him caged in the corner by the arm rest. It’s probably some fucked-up power move. Robert has been ignoring it just to spite him.
“It’s just not how comas work,” Robert shrugs.
“Right, and you know because you’re a fucking doctor,” Flambae quips back.
“I know because I was in one, asshole.”
------
During a quiet night in, Robert realizes that his coma and injuries aren't common knowledge among Z-Team.
Most of them take the information in stride with jokes aplenty.
Flambae does not.

Summary
Robert sets down the pregnancy test. He's aware that heats only end early due to drugs, or a knot producing a pregnancy.
For the next two weeks Robert was torn on what he should do.
Should he keep it?
Should he put it up for adoption?
Should he inform the father?
Well, Robert Robertson III couldn't bring himself to do either of those things and that's why he has a secret four-year-old son.
-
Robert has secrets that he keeps from the Z-Team, like he's Mecha Man, an Omega, and well, he has a son.... and one of them might be the father.

Summary
Robert has always treated his body like something temporary—maintained just enough to keep going. Then one run-in with a passing villain leaves him younger, unscarred, standing in a body that no longer carries the visible proof of the pain he survived. As the Z-Team watches him move through the world in a way he hasn’t in years, concern sharpens into something heavier. Others begin to notice what Robert himself has long learned to dismiss, and the truth becomes harder to avoid: whatever hit him didn’t just revert him—it revealed how much pain he’d been living with, and how quietly he let it happen. Because if this is who Robert used to be, then the version they’ve known has been surviving far more than he ever admitted.

Or: Robert gets caught in the crossfire of a fleeing villain’s power—and wakes up in the body he had at twenty-one.

Summary
"Robbie" Robertson the Second used to lay awake at night, asking every star in the sky for his son be born with some ability, something supernatural that can make the inevitable pain and sacrifice of heroism something easier to live with. Something that can protect his family better than the suit that protected him. It was only natural to ask for an easier path for your kids, even if you know they will be condemned to the life you're able to provide them.
When he got his wish, and Robert discovered he was supernatural, he took it all back.

Robert has superpowers au! I think I've thought of something pretty interesting to share. The catch? This is a mystery. You get to figure out what I've given this poor, tortured man as I send hints your way within each chapter.
Bonus enemy to lovers Flambert and a good dose of giving my favorites mental AND physical health issues. As I should.
