Summary
Eddie let him get halfway through his beer while talking about road construction techniques and whether it was a myth that modern roads were sized based on the width of Roman chariot axles. Then, in a brief lull, Eddie said, "So what's up?"
"Um... with the chariots?"
Nice try, said Eddie's expression. "No, Buck," said his mouth. "What's up with you lately? I know something's going on."

Summary
A drunken confession changes Eddie’s plans in the span of a few minutes, but communication is not these boys' strong suit.
---“Pretty sure he wouldn’t want you going Buck 1.0 through WeHo and showing up half-dead on my doorstep before the bars are even closed,” he continued. This was apparently the wrong thing to say, because Buck peeled his body away from the cushions into a mostly upright position and glared at Eddie.
