“Uhm...” Keith blinks and tried to adjust the baggy material, looking in Lance’s bathroom mirror. “I don’t think this is gonna work, Lance,” He stated lamely.
But Lance simply replied from the other side of the door, “Don’t be so grumpy, mullet! I think I look great!” He chirped and waited for Keith to walk into his room.
Hesitantly, Keith opened the bathroom door and walked inside the bedroom, feeling unsure and a bit awkward.
The second Lance saw him he gasped and absolutely melted. “Holy quiznack! You’re SO cute!” Before running over to him and cupping his face that was partially covered by the hood.
Keith scoffed with a light blush and said, “I don’t think so.”

Keith and Lance swap jackets and Lance absolutely gushes over how cute Keith looks in his jacket.

“Lance, I really want you to eat me out,” Keith says, digging his teeth against his bottom lip. Lance sputters when he realizes what Keith said, pressing his forehead against Keith’s rib cage.
“You can’t just- say that. Jesus,” Lance groans as Keith laughs breathlessly as he keeps carding Lance’s hair. Lance stares at him, smile fading away slowly. His eyes look so bright. He’s looking at Keith like he looks at the stars in the castle’s observatory, in quiet adoration, longing for adventure, for home.

In retrospect, it shouldn't have been surprising that Lance pounced on him after today’s mission. Keith knows he can be oblivious, but the planet’s princess had been touchy with him in a way that was hard for any of the paladins to ignore, much less him. Though, it's difficult to think about much of anything when he has his boyfriend pressed up against him, soft lips making him melt.
In his defense, Keith is a weak man.

Lance was fucked. Not literally, although he certainly wouldn’t be opposed to it. No, he was fucked in the figurative way, and it was all Keith’s fault. Maybe Lance was overthinking it. Shiro was his best friend. Older by a year, sure. But Shiro was his best friend and constantly thinking about pushing Shiro's younger brother against the wall and making out with him was not something a best friend did. A best friend also didn’t date said best friend’s younger brother behind his back. Nope. Not at all.

“Mornin’,” he murmurs, turning his head to press a kiss into Lance’s hair. “Did I wake you?”
“Mmh, no.” Lance says, voice rough with sleep. “Been up for a while. Just enjoying.”

Lance held his breath. He knew, at this rate, they’d have two options: fight with what they had (which was Keith’s knife and team spirit) and hope they can skirt by with the help of the locals, or submit and become prisoners to the Galra. Neither situation was ideal. Lance looked to Keith, at his eyes and his eye lashes, the curve of his nose and the pink in his lips. He knew it was bad timing, but he really wanted to kiss Keith before whatever happened, happened.
But when Keith turned his body to face him and said, “Kiss me.” With the same amount of emotion one would say, “Hand me that stapler,” it threw Lance completely off guard.
