Sebastian, for his part, provided you with equipment to help with this task (for the right price, of course). And he seemed to tolerate you a touch more than the others, if your conversations were anything to go by. He was a man of stale platitudes towards others, and a certified well of sass towards you. Perhaps it was the way he showed affection.
In any case, throughout all the runs piling up (and your deaths stacking high), some sort of camaraderie had manifested between the two of you. A gallows-like rapport as two beings whose fates had been played with by the very same company that sent-- and held-- them down here.
So of course, like the absolute genius you were, you decided to wield the hammer that was your big mouth and try to smash that carefully cultivated camaraderie to bits.

Summary
Life in the "big city" wasn't all you had imagined. There was as much possibility as danger in the crowded streets. Amidst the average citizens going about their day, there were those with darker intentions-- well connected and successful in carrying out their seedy business. Yes, the mob scene was alive there, a dark underbelly of cruelness and power struggles. Human and puppet alike.
You wanted nothing to do with any of that. You just wanted to get your feet under you; to become someone your mother, and the people in your hometown, could be proud of.
Too bad you didn't have a choice in the matter.

Summary
Wally Darling knew was feelings were, objectively. And he knew he loved and cared for his neighbours so, so much. But at the same time, identifying his feelings was hard. More often than not he did not spend the energy attempting to understand them, letting the odd sensations come and go without voicing them.
So, when the odd sensations started to occur more frequently-- when they started to manifest, to grow, to bloom-- it wasn't much of a cause for concern. Maybe that was just a part of it. Maybe that was just how feelings worked. How friendship worked. How love worked.
And he believed as such, even as the flowers began ripping through his seams.

Summary
Seeing Mr. Darling on T.V. you thought he was sugar, spice, and everything nice tied up in a bow.
Then you met him and thought he was the devil in a Puppet body.
You thought it was an open and shut case, but as Wally Darling's official chauffeur, you realized he was actually a man of polar opposites.
Not just on and off the stage. He was a tight coil of tension in a crowd, but lax when under the camera. Seething when surrounded by what he perceives as incompetence, but fidgety when he thinks no one's watching.
The gossip and sheer beauty of the vehicle you had the privilege of driving was worth the toxic work environment, in your opinion.
