In a world where some Omegas take multiple mates to form a den pack, and Alphas compete for an Omega's attention and interest to prove themselves worthy of joining the den pack. Where Betas keep everyone else grounded and basically know better, and where Gandalf really shouldn't withhold information. Even for his own amusement.
Or, where Bilbo is an Omega, but never presented, and a good portion of the company are unbonded Alphas, who assume he is a bland Beta, which isn't their fault, as he assumes he will present as a Beta when he does finally present. And then once he does present as an Omega, all hell breaks loose.

“NO!” Bilbo shouted sitting up quickly while pulling her hood up as well. “Fili just embarrassed me is all.” She said sniffling.
“Is it your beard? It’s a nice beard.” Fili assured, “Better than Kili’s that for sure.”
Bilbo and Kili’s shouts were simultaneous.
Thorin looked at his sister-son curiously, “I didn’t know hobbits grew beards.”

Summary
The journey to Erebor was a grueling affair, marked by blisters, rain, and the constant threat of being eaten. But for Bilbo Baggins, the greatest challenge wasn't the Orcs, it was the sheer logistical nightmare of being a Hobbit in a company of Dwarves who knew absolutely nothing about Hobbit physiology.
Most folk in Middle-earth knew that Hobbits had large, hairy feet. Some knew they had a penchant for seven meals a day. But very few knew about the ears, and almost no one outside the Shire knew about the tails.

“Yes,” said Thorin Oakenshield, one would-be King Under the Mountain, the bane of Bilbo's life and probably the love of his life – or one of them at least. For on Bilbo other side stood Dwalin, silent and stern and bristling with weapons and a great scowl on his face. “Get on the pony, Bilbo.”

“It’s got such a presence to it, even from a distance,” Bilbo says softly, and there’s a general murmur of awed agreement from the others. “Why, in all my fifty years, I never thought I’d see such a thing, and we haven’t even arrived yet!”
Thorin’s sword hits the ground with a clatter, and Balin chokes on his pipe.
The hobbit doesn’t look at Thorin, too busy thumping Balin on the back. Once the dwarf seems able to breathe again, he looks up, to find thirteen wide pairs of eyes fixed on him.
“What?” he says defensively, though he’s not sure what he’s defending.
“You’re how old?” Kíli squeaks.
Bilbo frowns at the young dwarf. “I’m fifty years old. Well, fifty-one, come springtime. Though it is not very polite to ask someone their age so bluntly,” he tells him primly.
Fíli makes a choked sound, and Nori lets out a vicious string of swears in Khuzdul.

“He was just trying to help,” a deep voice said above him, making Bilbo’s head snap up. Thorin was standing next to him, his eyes sweeping over the shore on the other side of the river.
Bilbo exhaled loudly through his nose. “I know, I know. They’re all just trying to help, but…”
“You feel as if they’re babying you.”
Bilbo nodded. “Something like that.”
Thorin met his gaze and smirked. “This is what it’s like being close to dwarves. You better get used to it.”
(Or, Bilbo notices that his dwarves become more and more protective of him as time goes by, but when Thorin suddenly joins in on the constant babying Bilbo is sure he’s gone insane.)

After 2 months on the road Bilbo was sure that Dwarves were not his favorite race. They were loud, obnoxious, lacked any manners and were just, so, very mean.

Bilbo Baggins is a dwobbit and basically a child, but had to grow up too fast. He feels lonely and unwanted, surrounded by the Company.
And the Company is, of course, very much oblivious and stupid. And mean.What will they think of Bilbo when they finally get to know him?

Fili rushed to Bilbo's side, shocked to see he'd gotten even paler, if possible. Enough was enough, and with a hand against Bilbo's back for support, Fili lifted his head and shouted for his uncle, "Thorin!"
"No." Bilbo panted out, his fingers digging on both brother's arms as Fili shouted for their uncle. "No, please, no." Kili bit his own lip and turned towards the head of the group and stood up. "Thorin! Stop!"
The second time, Thorin caught the sound and pulled the company to a halt. He turned, nearly losing his breath to see Bilbo on the brink of collapsing as his nephews clung to the hobbit like they were the only ones keeping him upright.

Summary
Thorin loses his memories due to some accident or other.
He falls for the beautiful blond by his bedside at first sight but is promptly heartbroken to learn the hobbit (as he explains he is) is married! And to a dwarf no less! But surely no dwarf could be superior to their king, Thorin just needs to prove as much to Bilbo.
(Inspired by a fic I can’t find but absolutely love where Thorin tries to fight Bilbo’s husband without realising it’s himself)
