Summary
After a misunderstanding derailed the prospect of negotiations between Vere and Akielos, the princes of the two countries began scheming to find a way to return their parents to the table. When their parents became suspicious of any contact the princes had with each other, Laurent decided the best strategy for communication was for him and Damen to pretend to be courting. Damen worries about convincing outsiders their relationship is real. He should be worrying instead about convincing himself it isn’t.
