Summary
Roy Harper always knew that behind the Wonder Boy smile, Dick Grayson was as cunning and manipulative as they come. Especially when it came to family. So when Dick calls in a favor, and Roy ends up signing on as the ASL interpreter for his estranged brother, he has no idea what he’s really signing up for.
Jason Todd is brooding, arrogant, and scarred by more than just trauma: a walking disaster with a tongue sharp enough to draw blood. But Roy figures he can handle it. He’s seen worse. Done worse. Hell, standing half-naked in front of strangers doesn’t even crack his Top Ten Most Embarrassing Moments.
Dodging bullets in broad daylight, though? Yeah. That definitely wasn’t in the job description.

"Look, I’m sorry. This is just… new." Roy scrubs a hand through his hair. "I care about you. I don’t want anything to happen to you — is that really so hard to get?" His voice softens, hands signing gently now.
"I’m deaf, not stupid."
Roy is going to fucking strangle him at this rate. "That’s not what I meant and you damn well know it!" -

Summary
Several months after Invisigal disappeared with Shroud's mask, Robert is falling apart. He can't taste, can't feel, can't stop his off-the-books investigation into underground surgeons removing failed Red Ring implants. Every back-alley beating, every late-night break-in is just him chasing pain to cut through the numbness. To feel alive again.
The Z team are starting to notice, and they have their own plans to help Robert.
Flambae's got an alternative therapy in mind. The kind that doesn't end with Robert bleeding out behind a club. The kind that involves heat, control, and getting his dispatcher out of his system once and for all.
A story about choosing to live and finding heat in all the wrong (right) places.
--------
Plot with porn. Explicit for strong sexual and violent themes, but won't be gratuitous about it. DubCon just in case.

Summary
The second Robert says he's Mecha Man after that bar fight, he knows Flambae is going to be furious. But when the reformed villain doesn't immediately attack, Robert is forced to confront some previous assumptions he'd had. Which leads him to Flambae's doorstep hours later with an offer - he won't fight back as Flambae takes his revenge. He isn't expecting Flambae's revenge to take the form of fucking him, but...
Well. He's not dead, so it's still a success. It hurts just like he thought, but he'll do anything for his legacy - he has suffered for it since he was a child, it's nothing new. Speaking of child... maybe he should've been better about birth control and not relying on his body's malnutrition response for it.
All the while, Shroud hangs over his head like an axe, Flambae's revenge is turning into something softer than hate, Royd is struggling to get the mech suit working, and Robert is being crushed by the weight of a dead man's expectations.
Wasn't taking a desk job supposed to have him bleeding less than being in the field?

Summary
So, it didn’t start out like this.
Alfred would scoff at the statement, about how Bruce was trying to justify the whole situation to himself. It had started out as a simple design, black everything with black outlines and black hood. It got a little more intense as the world went on, got wind of his ghost on the streets, and became scared of The Bat . So Bruce got a little more creative with it, Alfred and him had a good laugh over the name, the scare, and Alfred had a vicious streak of humor that he had passed onto his ward-
So now the suit had a visible bat-theme, an insignia to drape in the shadows and to paint across the streets of Gotham.
It only took a year into the whole charade of heroism for Bruce to overhear a conversation between some goons- some low level thug hired by the Riddler this week- about nothing at all pertaining to what the hell the Riddler was doing in the sewers but instead:
“ The Batman can fly, you know, I’ve seen his wings.”
--
A world where nobody has wings, but people think they do, and that changes everything.
