Summary
The archaeological trip to Sal Terrae ends badly, as expected, but the former Geo Archon soon sees a Mora lining in the form of Aether. He then gathers a new cast of the Knights of Favonius, the Liyue Qixing, and of course the traveling duo of Aether and Paimon.
(This naturally entails chaos, but when has that stopped Zhongli? However, politics soon come to play, for a political stand-off between Liyue and Mondstadt brews as Zhongli rues his hasty retirement plans, all while predicting Teyvat's economy stagnating in the near future; it's a race against economic deflation that Paimon never quite understood.)
