Summary
Shouta jumped a bit when a large hand was on his knee, Yagi’s attempt to ease Shouta’s apparent frustration. Yagi squeezed it lightly, “You’re a good kid, Shouta. I look forward to being part of your life and you in mine.” The hand seemed to inch up slowly, dragging across his thigh until the tips of Yagi’s fingers dipped into the crevice of his inner thigh and squeezed again.
The touch made Shouta’s skin crawl with repulsion, but he made no effort to slap his hand away. Yagi was just being friendly. He shouldn’t overthink things and jump to conclusions.
It was just a friendly touch.

Shouta’s mom has a new boyfriend who’s considered his step-dad now, and he’s anything but normal. He’s too interested in Shouta— but, of course, no one notices except Shouta himself.

He ended up asking Mic, because Toshinori had learned that if you wanted to talk to Aizawa about something, you actually had to talk to Mic about it, because Aizawa didn’t really have conversations. “Does Aizawa have a...” Toshinori trailed off, rubbing his chin a few weeks after his firefighting escapade, his throat still raw from the smoke, and changed his tactic. “Does Aizawa feel uncomfortable about marriage?”
He was pretty sure Mic choked, but if he did, he covered it so fast he nearly missed it. The other man waved a hand, cackling at nearly full volume, which, in the confines of the teacher’s lounge, was loud enough to make Toshinori wince. “Him? No, Eraser is fine about marriage. Why?” Mic pulled down his sunglasses, eyebrows arched up toward his hairline. “Did you ask him to marry you?”

Summary
Shouta is tired, his days blurring together as he slowly loses more of himself, done with trying to combat an outcome that he isn't even sure is so bad anymore. His life is one big disappointment, and he's accepted that fact long ago; probably the same day he knew he would never have Hizashi, but he doesn't care to pinpoint the exact moment. It takes too much energy.
His need to feel something, anything is what leads him to go out that night, to go home with that alpha; he just needed a distraction. He just wanted to feel good for a change.
But even fun has consequences, and Shouta is only half aware of just how many have come for him.
