Summary
That fateful night in Praetorium, Gaius van Baelsar watched as his plans went up quite literally in 'smoke and ash' and his long career spent in the Legions of the Empire came to an abrupt end. While he thought it was over, he found that he could not follow the others into death... there was still vengeance to be had and a hunt to begin for the Ascian calling himself Lahabrea.
But first, he has to recover from that ordeal as battle with the Warriors of Light and their companions... and the fall from Ultima Weapon... did not leave him in the best of shape.
