Iruma had mostly adapted to the Netherworld language
He had gotten a lot better had pronouncing the considerably harder words as well as writing and spelling some words the he had particular trouble with which boosted his language ability by a lot. Speaking was no problem for him as his grandpa had long cast a spell on him so he could understand what was being spoken.
But sometimes he missed the homely feeling of the Japanese language, it was his home country after all. He missed the way it would just roll off his tongue fluently and how he could write the characters like it was in his blood.
So sometimes after school in the privacy of his bedroom, he would speak Japanese to himself to rekindle nostalgic memories.
There was no harm in doing it, right?

"You should look into getting your vents checked, broken ones make an awful racket.” He told the man. The Joker’s grin widened.
“Thank you, dear customer! I’ll definitely get that checked out. Now, your total should be 13,56 dollars.” The Joker said, bagging the medicine in a strawlike grocery bag.
Bruce nodded and handed a twenty bill to the man. “Keep the change,” He added as The Joker handed him his bag.

Hell, he certainly had to grow up a lot faster than others did, but it was impossible for his adopted mother, Talia, to ignore the time he lost during his time dead and catatonic. Due to that, Talia tends to treat him as though he was younger, still a child. Jason didn't appreciate that one bit.
