Summary
Tim Drake, one of Batman's protégés, is sent back in time to when Bruce Wayne is taking his first steps as Batman. A devastating cataclysm has destroyed humanity in his time, preventing any possible return. Tim's mission is to change the course of history to avert this apocalyptic future.
As he struggles to navigate this dangerous past, Tim encounters unexpected feelings for young Bruce Wayne. Unbeknownst to him, Bruce is also beginning to feel an attraction to this mysterious time traveller. Tim struggles with his emotions, knowing that any involvement could further complicate his critical mission.
As events unfold, Tim must not only prevent the impending cataclysm, but also prevent the horrors and tragedies that have scarred his family. Between forbidden love, moral dilemmas and the fight to save humanity, Tim finds himself at a crossroads where every decision could change the fate of the world and those he loves.

A glowing humanoid fell, as if from a tear in time-space itself, onto the table during the middle of the Justice League monthly meeting.
The being cursed softly then pushed himself from his prone position to his hands and knees.
“Uh, hi?” he said, with a tone that one might describe as “sheepish”.
“So, there's no easy way to say this, but I'm from the future, and a year from tomorrow, the apocalypse begins. And ends. As apocalypses go, it's a fast one, I guess—” he cut off his ramble with a shake of his head, whispering ‘stay focused, Danny’ under his breath.
“Anyway, uh. I've been sent back in time, to you guys, because it would be good for the apocalypse to…not happen?”
