Summary
Bucky is determined to take down the remainder of Hydra now that he is no longer their power. The remaining list of Hydra agents includes Wanda Maximoff. And if he gets to protect Tony Stark along the way, that may just be a surprising bonus.

Tim has the perfect plan to get Batman to hire and adopt his new, homeless best friend Jason. All Tim has to do is put himself in life threatening situations (ie: swinging from a rope over a vat of poison, or strapped to the train tracks) and then Jason will be dressed like vigilante and pretend to save poor Timmy right as Batman swoops in to save the day. Once Jason has enough saves on his resume, Batman totally has to add him to the Batfamily. Nothing at all can go wrong with that plan, right?
aka: Tim has an unhinged master plan to get Jason to join the Batfamily early.

Tim sighs and stands, ignoring the way pain shoots up his ribs. Looks like it’s time to save his soulmate from himself. Again.
----
When Jason resolves to never, ever deliberately seek out injury again, he thinks he’s resigning himself to a whole lot of longing. Sure, Tim says he can just ask when he wants a hug…but if asking were that easy, he never would’ve started this shit in the first place. So when he trashes the injury plan, he’s pretty sure he’s also trashing any chances of physical contact.
Turns out? He’s very, very wrong.

Summary
Jason didn’t know when it started. If he thought about it, he remembered the bright light that surrounded his mom in her last days. After that, he noticed the way some people lit up, outlined in a growing brightness that emitted from the edges of their beings. The brighter the individual, the closer they were to death.
At the parties that Bruce insisted on dragging him to, he expected the dim light from the tired old businessmen who drank too much and were limping closer to their ends, glowing a little more every time Jason saw them.
What he did not expect was for the 12-year-old neighbor kid to light up like a damn Christmas tree the second Jason laid his eyes on him.

Summary
Tim wasn’t a cat person. He wasn’t a dog person either, for that matter. It wasn’t that he disliked them - animals were great in the way that they didn’t expect conversation - rather, it was that he was bad with them. He was bad at communication with humans, and they (mostly) used their words, so he had a hard time figuring out what an animal wanted from him. Unfortunately, this didn’t seem to matter when he opened his eyes and found himself staring at two paws instead of hands.
Tim finds himself in a spot of trouble, and, in an unrelated turn of events, Jason adopts a cat. These things are related in the way that the Batfamily needs to work on their detective skills.
