You stir to the feeling of soft pressure against your forehead. You let out a soft whine of complaint as you turn away to hide under the covers, still mostly asleep.
"Ah, ah, come back to me, sweetheart. No sleeping just yet." Coaxing you back with the soft sound of his voice and gentle fingers on your cheek, turning your face towards him, you go reluctantly. You open your eyes just a crack to look up at him, your head throbbing with pain.

You expect a stranger, maybe someone awkward or mildly tolerable. Instead, the “friend” who lives just a few miles away turns out to be Suguru Getou—the annoyingly hot guy from the engineering department you’ve definitely noticed because the friend he's always with is obnoxiously loud. And somehow, against all logic and common sense, this extremely suspicious decision becomes the start of something that’s way more complicated than you ever signed up for.

You're happily married to Sebastian. One day, you go to Skull Cavern to look for a frog egg for him. Unfortunately, you forgot that you left the mines on dangerous mode, and you get injured pretty badly, barely managing to make it back home. You wake up in Doctor Harvey's clinic, in a hospital bed, with Sebastian standing over you, worried sick. You're told that you passed out in pelican town before you could make it home. Everything seems fine, but you just keep getting sicker. You go to Doctor Harvey's again, and you're told that your wounds became infected, and you need plenty of rest. Sebastian cares for you, while you rest in bed. Unfortunately, your sickness lasts longer than expected, and you have to miss the feast of the winter star. Not to worry, though, because Sebastian happily takes care of you and cuddles with you, he never liked socializing anyway.
