Summary
In one twist, due to a few small changes, Prince Arctic and a gravid Foeslayer are captured before they can escape the IceWing kingdom, and they are harshly punished by the vindictive Queen Diamond.
Darkstalker, as a hatchling, reflectively casts his first enchantment to change his appearance, saving himself as the guards take his sister instead.
The IceWing-NightWing hybrid is raised as a lowly outlander with no true prospects or future, other than what little Queen Diamond can squeeze out of him.
When he turns seven, he is asked to grant the IceWings a noble gift.
He calls it the gift of freedom.

“From now on, all animus magic spells, voiced or silent, cast by animus dragons present and future, shall be subject to the following conditions.
One. A deeply annoying voice that develops a deeply annoying personality with a disproportionately large ego who names itself Animi shall reside within each animus dragon’s mind, and cannot be removed.
Two. Upon every spell that is attempted to be cast by animus dragons, Animi will stall at least three, and at most ten times.
Three. Upon granting the spell, if still pushed through by the animus, Animi will fulfill it in the most irritating, inconvenient, pedantic, emotionally humiliating or insanity-inducing way possible, while still technically obeying the caster’s words in the loosest interpretation that can still be defended in a theoretical debate. Animi will decide for itself what is the best option.”

Summary
After Foeslayer got captured, Clearsight notices the happy futures have faded by a lot. But at the same time, she sees one course of action that might make them brighter again. She thinks that, perhaps, if she and her friends left this kingdom, away from this war, she could guarantee a happier ending.
She's hesitant to leave at first, but she realizes that it's either they leave the Night and Ice kingdoms in war, or let Darkstalker take over Pyrrhia sometime in the future. The latter's arguably worse, so...
She decides to take her friends to the Lost Continent, and soon after they all reach there, they realize they have a lot of stuff they have to get used to...Hopefully the Pantalans don't start worshipping them as gods or something, heh. (they do)
Also, some of the Pantalans end up starting a cult. Wow, a new problem for them to deal with after escaping a different problem.
also the title is probably going to be said in the fanfic somewhere idk

The Phantom of the Opera story, if it happened in Wings of Fire.
To everyone, Arctic and Foeslayer only ever had one dragonet - Whiteout, who was sent back to the Ice Kingdom in order to achieve peace after many died on both sides of the war. Clearsight's parents were among those victims. She had to start living in the Night Kingdom's Royal Opera House. And years later strange accidents start happening. And somehow, none of them she could foresee.Although this is based on the musical, you should still understand it, regardless of having seen The Phantom of the Opera.
The Phantom of the Opera obviously doesn't belong to me, it's made by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
